DESCRIPCIÓN
The interest in channeling and pointing out difficult and repetitive acts in our culture is one of the common elements in all of Clemencia Echeverri's works, which becomes the guiding thread of the book Without Answer. Through voice and sound intersecting with the image, it affects the viewer in an emotional way so that they sense the helplessness that arises from the conflict, the difficulty we have in bringing the past to the present with its multiple contradictions. It is, then, a successful attempt to name the unnameable and to “shape our attitude towards reality,” as anthropologist María Victoria Uribe writes, quoting Julia Kristeva, in one of the sections of the book.
