Now many years later, from the perspective that the full insertion of women in the contemporary world gives her, her granddaughter, Camila Umaña Jimeno, undertakes the bold rediscovery of her grandmother throughout these texts, to derive from it, as she freely confesses in her introduction to this edition, a better understanding of the history of the country and of herself.
