He studied Philosophy and Letters, Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín. She has been Director of Communications at Asocaña, at the Departmental Institute of Fine Arts (Cali), at the National Batuta Foundation and at Colfuturo; Likewise, communications consultant for UNFPA, PAHO, UNICEF, World Bank and USAID. He was a Political Advocacy Strategist at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. She worked as a social researcher at the CIMDER Foundation of the Universidad del Valle, where she also directed the Research Center for Health Promotion. She was deputy director at El Espectador and editor at El País de Cali. For 14 years he has been a columnist in El Nuevo Siglo. As a journalist she has been awarded the Simón Bolívar Prize, the Álvaro Gómez Hurtado Prize and the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón Prize. She is the author of Amores con Epitafio, El Septimazo: public journalism in the times of Uribe and Candelaria Adentro.
