International Art: Banco de la República Collection

This book includes a select sample of the international art collection of the Bank of the Republic, one of the cultural attractions of the Colombian capital and a source of pride for the institution that has sponsored and welcomed it since its creation in the middle of the last century.

The collection, which includes works ranging from the first Renaissance to the multiple trends in current art, has also been the opportunity for many artists and the general public to come into direct contact with magnificent original classical and modern works, and not only through books and reproductions. Being itinerant and often circulating through various cities in the country, the collection fulfills a didactic and multiplying function. The selection and the accompanying texts are the work of teacher Beatriz González.
