Gardens of Colombia
Also available with the Spanish title: Jardines de Colombia
Unlike architecture, sculpture or painting, the art of gardening produces works that grow, bloom, transform and disappear. For this reason, the garden is considered the greatest work of art produced by man. And as such, all cultures and civilizations have had it. This book is dedicated to the gardens of Colombia, a country with such a variety of contrasting climates that the diversity of its flora would seem to be infinite. The numerous, although not exhaustive, images in this book capture the marvelous eclecticism that occurs in the configuration of Colombian gardens, whether they are those of the large exuberant park or those of the tiny niche blooming in some corner of its geography. And it is that if there is any common denominator in the social mosaic of this South American country, it is the love for plants.
