Santiago Cárdenas Homage

Santiago Cárdenas: A Tribute brings together the work of one of the most rigorous, discreet, and personal artists in contemporary Colombian art. A painter, draftsman, and teacher, Cárdenas built a renowned career in Colombia and abroad, faithful to a quiet and intelligent way of seeing. His blackboards, papers, tools, objects, interiors, and shadows reveal that the everyday can become essential painting when filtered through a precise and sensitive gaze. This edition of the Antología de Colombia Collection recovers a body of work of great coherence, admired in museums, galleries, and collections, and allows new generations to approach a fundamental artist whose apparent stillness encompasses one of the most unique voices in Colombian art.
