”This publication responds to the interest of the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development in keeping citizens updated on the dynamics of Law 99 of 1993. Which must contribute to the consolidation of the National Environmental System.

To this end, a compendium of regulations on environmental matters has been prepared, accompanied by the most relevant rulings of the Constitutional Court in constitutional protection actions.

The first part of the text includes the inclusion of the articles of Law 99 of 1993, which has been agreed with notes of validity. The second part is a compilation of the main regulations on environmental matters.

In the third part, a compendium is made of the most relevant rulings on constitutionality and protection in environmental matters.”
