$245,000.00

DESCRIPCIÓN

Due to its privileged geographical position on the continent, its climatic variety and its ethnic diversity, Colombia is a country immensely rich in craft production. There the crafts are the living testimony of its cultural heritage.

In this book, Liliana Villegas and Benjamín Villegas have managed to collect and capture more than 500 years in images of artifacts that have accompanied the development of the national culture, from pre-Hispanic times to the present day. Ritual objects, tools, furniture, jewellery, baskets, hammocks, hats and much more, whose originality endures thanks to the wisdom decanted from a long tradition and the use of noble materials that, such as wood or clay, stone or metal , the seed, the fiber or the leather, man has transformed in a thousand and one ways throughout his history.
