DIMAR - Volume I: A historical reflection Volume II: Through the seas and rivers of Colombia

This work is an attempt to reflect in simple but telling texts, in abundant images and pleasant testimonies, the day-to-day life of Dimar, the General Maritime Directorate of Colombia. Here we witness and pay tribute to the permanent effort made by all the men and women who make it up to fulfill their enormous task, in that immense and vital element in incessant movement that is water. The oceans, seas and rivers, integral parts of our national being, must be incorporated without delay into the individual and collective conscience of the country. They, who unite the people of the planet, have been a privileged means for the development, communication, science, technology, commerce and culture of humanity.
