DESCRIPCIÓN
During his term as president of the Congress of the Republic, Germán Vargas Lleras carried out the initiative to classify the historical archive of the institution, with a view to unraveling the wealth of information contained in its documents and files, many of which have been kept for years. now unpublished versions of our republican life.
The young communicator Ximena Orjuela was entrusted with the task, who throughout her work in the General Archive of the Nation where the majority of documents produced by Congress in the 19th and early 20th centuries reside, was finding new and testimonies revealing about the political evolution of the country.
A book to illustrate the richness of that documentary vein and stimulate investigations and studies that enrich the examination of our events.
