Gerardo Aragón
Also available in English with the title: Gerardo Aragón - Infinite Dimension
Gerardo Aragón belonged to that generation of Colombian artists that developed under the influence of pop and abstract expressionism in the mid-sixties of the last century. As such, he participated in the renaissance of drawing and engraving, maintained a constant teaching activity and ventured into different techniques in search of his own expressive language. He expressed his interest in nature through sculpture, installations, collage, watercolor, stained glass and even bonsai, which he considered an art of equal rank. Aragón oscillated between a figurativism in which the volume of female forms acquires a telluric character and an abstractionism that little by little surpasses the limits.
