DESCRIPCIÓN
The name of Enrique Grau (1920) is now inseparable from the history of Colombian art. From his first works, produced in the forties of the last century, until today, Grau has traveled with vital drive and with enormous desire through all the paths of plastic arts: drawing, painting, engraving, screen printing, lithography, sculpture, scenery and costumes for theater, cinema, murals. In this shift, the artist, moving away from his strong figurative vocation, also ventured into the geometric and the cubist. His style, so personal and classic, is unique in Colombian art, in particular, and Latin American art, in general. This book pays tribute to an extraordinary artist who, at 83 years of age, remains as alert as he was 63 years ago, when Colombia acclaimed him for the first time.
