Extraordinary compilation of Vladdo's cartoons, published in Semana magazine and the newspaper El Espectador during the last eight years, under the general nickname "Vladdomania". With the humor and wit that characterize it, these paintings have reflected national and international events and current events throughout this time. In most cases, too, as is to be expected from any caricature that does its duty, sarcasm and irony have battered, with uncontrollable tenacity, the protagonists of such situations. The popularity of Vladdo's cartons is beyond dispute. His impact has earned him the "Simón Bolívar" National Journalism Award on two occasions, and in 2002, the Journalism Excellence Award granted by the Inter-American Press Association, SIP.
