Narino Palace
"Since President Julio César Turbay first occupied it, the new Casa de Nariño housed solemn relics of history and priceless artistic creations, such as the busts of the Liberator by Tenerani and some of the most lavish canvases of that great national painter who was Andrés de Santa María. Now we have had the privilege of being intermediaries of the generosity of creators, scholars and collectors, with whose contributions the new wing of the Constitution could be opened; and of the beautiful magnanimity of our artists, who have donated works splendid for this House, some specially conceived for it, like those milestones in the iconography of Nariño, which are the works of the masters Obregón, Botero and Grau."
