Colombia: A New Vision (First Edition)
Also available in Spanish with the title: Colombia Inédita
"In the highest regions, where the law of the wind prevails," says Harker, "a river called light is born." It is, without a doubt, a river that the photographer explores with the skill of an expert navigator, a river that slides from the tops of the mountains, and rushes noiselessly through humid jungles and deserted moors. It reaches the fields, crosses the wheat fields, avoids the cities, and travels through the towns of men. However, in those towns, we perceive the figures of the leftovers and the secret faces of the people. They are fleeting images, seen through open windows and, immediately, the river continues until it reaches the beaches of the coast, to dissolve into the ocean as if it were meeting its own destiny. They are photographs that make us feel much more than what we see.
