Once upon a time Colombia
Starting from a beautiful verse by Aurelio Arturo that could define Colombian diversity - biological, climatic, ethnic, cultural -, William Ospina here undertakes a reflective journey through the physical environment and the historical development of the country. This is not a geographical displacement or a historical recount. What the author proposes is to rethink the country in terms of its strengths and weaknesses, its riches and its deficiencies, in an attempt to decipher its essence and influence its future. In other words, a proposal to approach the country from the country itself. A proposal that requires, of course, the decision to put our creativity at the service of original initiatives that project a new notion of a country: a country of solidarity, reconciled with itself and its history.
