DESCRIPCIÓN
The experience of architecture, understood in a simplified way as the conscious experience of inhabited places, is a topic that is difficult to find in the immense architectural literature that accumulates daily in libraries and bookstores. This book seeks to fill, at least in part, that void. That experience is treated here in a series of chapters that start from the review of some basic approaches, continue through the experience of living and the image of the world, to reach a broad development of the topic. An analogy with the experience of music creates a parenthesis prior to the final chapter, in which the topic of the poetics of architecture is discussed. Throughout the tour, the city and the buildings are talked about in a simple and direct way, easily accessible to the non-specialized public, without losing sight of the necessary rigor in the presentation of the concepts.
