The transformation of Bogotá

'The Transformation of Bogotá' (1982) is the twelfth book written by our founder Benjamín Villegas, under the name Benjamín Villegas & Asociados and with the publishing imprint of GAUDI, Española de Ediciones. It is the story of Hernando Durán Dussan's mayoralty of Bogotá (1978 - 1982), which represented a leap forward for the city.

The texts have the mayor's signature and are the result of a series of interviews conducted by the writer Fernando Garavito. The book features photography by Rudolf Schrimpff (Rudolf), Julio Flórez and José Rincón. It was printed in Spain by Gráficas Guadua.
